Travel guide to the Calabria region of Italy

Calabria is a region in southern Italy and located in the toe of this wonderful country’s boot. Its unique position between the Tyrrhenian, Ionian and Mediterranean coast makes Calabria the Pearl of the Mediterranean. It is often said Calabria has the most beautiful beaches of Italy. With the crystal blue water and the blue, you can enjoy of every day in this Italian peninsula which many tourists still have to discover.


However, Calabria is well known for its coasts and beaches; the landscape is dominated through mountains and you will find a variety of plants. It is amazing how many cactus plants you find in different places of this beautiful peninsula. Citrus fruit orchards, olive trees, chestnut trees and even oak, pine and fir trees dominate the landscape of Calabria.

Oh how gorgeous erik I wanna go there. Did you drive all the way there. Must take a long way up to the top of Italy
